Bathroom Cabinet Construction
The walls are fairly thin (no more than 100mm), so if I want to be able to fit anything useful in there it needs to be protruding from the wall a bit. To be able to fit any quantity of stuff in it, it needs to be of reasonable size. So I decided to cut out a stud and throw into a lintel and sill to reinforce the roof.
I a large chunk of this in early Jan, here's where I started.

This is after I've cut the four really easy rebates out to put the fillers in.
This is where I worked my way into the timber in the corner in the wayy, where the circular saw wouldn't go into.
More chunks out. I wonder what's happening on the other side of the wall with all this thumping.
The lintel and sill sitting in position.
The next day I cut out the stud and the brace.
And then I bugle screwed the lintel and sill in.
The production of the cabinet is in progress and will be dealt with later. In the meantime, what did all that thumping do...
Well... It dun blew the whole wall out cletus!
More work! Woot!
